Horseshoe Cottage
Is a delightful,
traditional stone built Cornish cottage,
situated in the heart of the village
close to a tea room which serves delicious
cakes and just a couple of minutes
stroll to the safe sandy beach or
the Ship Inn.
The cottage sleeps
two people in a large antique oak
bed and has all the modern essentials
to provide that home from home feel
.It is very tastefully decorated with
antique dressing table, comfortable
sofa, armchair and bijou dining table
for two.
The accommodation
consists of a cosy upstairs double
bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with
bath, WC, shaving point and shower
attachment. Downstairs is a lounge/dining,
kitchen, complete with digital flatscreen
colour television, DVD player, radio
and CD player. The kitchen has an
electric hob and oven, microwave and
washing machine. For guests with young
children we are able to provide a
travel cot and high chair upon request.
Outside is a patio area with bistro
table and chairs and pretty patio
planters filled with flowers and herbs.
The cottage is heated
by electric radiators which along
with all other fuel and power costs
are included in the rental. We also
provide you with all the bed linen
and towels you require, to make your
travelling load a little lighter.
There is parking
available for one car a real bonus
as guests having visited Cornwall
before will know. We regret however
that we have no facilities for pets
and we do request all guests respect
our no-smoking policy.
The cottage is available
to let all year and for those wishing
to book for a full week, our letting
goes from Friday to Friday We are
happy to do short breaks throughout
the year or for guests staying at
our bed and breakfast in groups of
more than four to use the cottage
if available, as an extra bedroom
and to join their friends at The Ancient
Shipbrokers for breakfast.
Prices range from
£220 to £435 per week
on a self catering basis, or £65
- £75 per night on a bed and
breakfast basis.
