We are located in an area of Outstanding
Natural Beauty and Conservation.
Once
the home of the Shipbroker who traded
cargoes such as grain, tallow, timber,
and china clay in the harbour, the house
has a lot of history and has been decorated
tastefully with colour and imagination
to give a warm welcome. Double
and twin en-suite rooms are available.
Private parking is
available onsite. Help with luggage
is provided as part of our welcome.
FREE wireless connection is provided.
We have ample space for storing bicycles,
surf boards and wetsuits.
Wake to the morning
song of sea birds, the sight of the
busy House Martins chasing insects,
kingfishers stopping by or the many
butterflies flitting across the meadow.
See
our gallery pages for pictures.
There are pear trees,
plum trees, blackberries, elderberries
and sloes growing on our land from which
we make homemade wine during Autumn
months. A large area is given over to
wild flowers and ancient trees which
supports natural wildlife.
The view from the
Dining Room is spectacular looking out
across Pentewan Harbour and the beach
providing the perfect compliment to
the Ancient Shipbrokers delicious
home cooked breakfasts. If you feel
like a lazy day why not just sit and
relax in our pretty garden or on the
deck whilst you decide what to do. Night
time brings along different delights,
especially when the moon is shining
across the sea perfect for those romantic
evenings. We see fabulous sunsets to
the west over towards The Lost Gardens
of Heligan.
We also have a delightful
one bedroom traditional stone built
Cornish cottage just a few minutes walk
away and right in the heart of the village.
This can either be used to accommodate
those extra guests of big parties on
a Bed and Breakfast basis, or as a self-catering
cottage. For more information about

Cottage click on the link.
